Portland S ballpoint pen z Oakového sudu od whiskey Jack Daniel's I created this piece for smaller hands or for those who prefer lighter writing instruments. The pen uses standard refills, available in most stationery shops. To make the pen truly personal, you may add engraving such as a message, monogram, important date, name, nickname, company logo and many other details. The Story of the Wood: This pen is crafted from oak reclaimed from a mature barrel. Depending on its origin, the barrel previously held wine, whisky or beer, giving the wood a second life and a story shaped by time and tradition.

Pen dimensions
This pen is called Portland S and it is the smallest of the three pen models I make. The length of the closed pen is approximately 131 mm. open pen, measured from the tip to the end, is approximately 123 mm. With the cap, it weighs approximately 35–40 g depending on the piece of wood used. The section held in the hand while writing weighs approximately 25 g.
Is this pen too short or too light for you? In that case, I recommend the Portland Lor Altos models, which are slightly larger.

Every pen is supplied in a gift cardboard presentation boxincluded with the order. Luxury wooden gift boxes are available separately as an optional upgrade. The package also includes a Certificate of Authenticity, identifying the material, care instructions and, where applicable, the age of the wood.

Pen refill
I use blue refills from the German company Schmidt. The line width is F (fine). This is a so-called "roller", meaning a pen with a ceramic ball and ink refill. For this reason, the pen has a cap to prevent drying. This type of pen requires less pressure than a standard ballpoint and writes very smoothly.
Delivery time
I send pens by Czech Post as registered mail for CZK 69, via Zásilkovna also for CZK 69, by courier for CZK 128, or by EMS(the fastest option) for CZK 175.
I always dispatch orders promptly, usually no later than the second day after the order, payment or engraving approval. Usually, even a pen with engraving leaves the workshop within 24 hours of ordering and can reach you in as little as two days. The final delivery time then depends on the selected delivery service.
Caring for Your Pera Novak Pen Is Simple
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct heat and aggressive chemicals. The natural oil finish may be refreshed over time if required. More detailed advice on removing scratches or cleaning ink from the surface is available in our pen care guide.
