Product detailed description

The Large ballpoint pen made of exotic Padauk wood was created by me for larger hands or for lovers of heavier and more robust writing pens. The pen takes standard refills, and to make the pen a true original you can have it engraved with a message, a monogram, an important date, a name or nickname, a company logo and much more. You will find inspiration in the engraving samples.

Every pen is an original and you will never buy the same one again. So don't hesitate and get it before somebody else snaps it up.

This pen is made of Padauk wood

African Padauk wood has a distinctive colour and a fairly pronounced grain pattern. It is a hard, strong wood that resists moisture and impact. Perhaps that is also why it is sometimes called "bar wood". Its high durability has won over floor makers, who love to create impressive pieces from it that stay beautiful for many years. You won't find Padauk in Europe, its home is Africa. It likes a tropical climate and perhaps that is why its colour is a hot red turning into a warm brown.

Personal dedication

Every pen can be engraved with a personal dedication, message, or perhaps a monogram. I use a laser engraver for this. Thanks to it I can put almost any text you wish onto the wooden part of every pen. For inspiration on what can be engraved on a pen, I have put together a short text with more than 70 different ideas. You can also see what the engraved text looks like directly on the wood you like. In this gallery you will find samples of most of the materials I use. If you want the engraving to stand out nicely, I would recommend the lighter woods such as Teak, Zebrano, Padauk or Olive. On Wenge, American walnut or bog oak the dedication will look more subtle.

I usually place the text on the cap of the pen, either on the side or at the bottom next to the "ring".

Suuper pěkné pero, opravdu se mi líbí. Drží se dobře v ruce, písmo je hladké a ta barva dřeva je prostě nádherná. Stálo to fakt nemalý peníze, ale myslím, že to stojí za to. Doporučuuu.
